MEET MINDY
Food Has Always Been One of the Ways I Show Love.
Hi, I’m Mindy. I was born and raised in Xi’an, one of China’s oldest and most culturally significant cities.
Before moving to the United States, I spent more than ten years working in higher education. I later earned an MBA with a focus on Human Resources.
My professional background taught me the importance of preparation, responsibility, organization, and attention to detail. I bring those same values into every dining experience I create.
My Christian faith has also shaped how I serve others. I believe hospitality is about more than preparing food. It is about welcoming people, caring for them, and helping them feel valued.
“I believe a thoughtfully prepared meal can bring people closer together and make love visible.”
— Mindy
WHERE MY STORY BEGAN
Welcome to Xi’an
An ancient city shaped by history, family traditions, and food made to be shared.
A City with Thousands of Years of History
Xi’an is one of China’s oldest cities and was once the capital of several Chinese dynasties. It is known around the world as the home of the Terracotta Warriors and as an important starting point of the ancient Silk Road.
The city is surrounded by history, from its ancient city wall and traditional neighborhoods to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
But Xi’an is not only a city of monuments. It is a city filled with family kitchens, busy food streets, handmade noodles, dumplings, steamed buns, and generations of culinary tradition.
It is where I learned that food does more than satisfy hunger. Food welcomes guests, celebrates milestones, comforts families, and keeps memories alive.
